Gilbert Bear Heart

TNO - Apache Member/Spiritual/Historian

Gillie Kote’ Bear Heart is a traditionalist, ceremonial leader, and elder rooted in Chiricahua Apache heritage. Residing in Southern California, he has spent decades preserving Native traditions through powwows, northern songs, and sacred circles. His spiritual path has taken him to sweat lodges and intertribal gatherings across the Southwest and Pacific Northwest, where he shares teachings of ceremony, kinship, and survival. Bear Heart is also a visual artist and craftsman, drawing on his heritage to guide both community practice and creative expression. Devoted to honoring ancestors while adapting to the present, he continues to weave old knowledge into new generations.

David Trujillo

TNO - Apache Member/Business Owner

David J. Trujillo is a seasoned leader and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in community development, mentorship, and organizational growth. Based in Temecula, California, he co-founded House of Pain Boxing So Cal, where he has built a mentorship program and licensed 501(c)(3) that supports Native youth and underserved communities through sport, discipline, and life skills. Trujillo’s career spans multiple successful businesses and nonprofit initiatives, reflecting a consistent commitment to cultural preservation, youth empowerment, and building bridges across tribal and local communities.
